Portable Wildfire Shelters with Projected Video
Installation
For an Open Studio event at the Santa Fe Art Institute, I created this installation featuring 5 portable wildfire shelters with video projected onto them.
Initially, because the event started at 5:30pm and there was a lot of daylight entering the gallery through windows and skylights, the video was barely visible. However, as the sun began to set, the projection grew more visible. I liken this to how the perception of climate change is changing over time; as time goes on, more people are noticing the ways our climate is changing.
