A Site-Specific Performance @ The Tidal Basin in Washington, DC

On Sunday, October 20th, Katie Kehoe presented her site-specific performance piece, Harbinger, at the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. The performance took place in publicly accessible areas that would be flooded with a six-foot rise in sea levels. Performers utilized prop, signalling gestures, and conversation to engage with each other and their surroundings on the subject of climate change and sea level rise.
To observe Harbinger, the public was invited to the following sites at the times listed below:
2:10pm – Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial
2:30pm – Martin Luther King Memorial
3:00pm – Jefferson Memorial
